Rita, glad to hear about Dan and Kiera, you must be on countdown for Cyprus now, take some photos for us, lot's of grapes around there, I'm amazed, I thought I ate them all in the fifties//// who fills in for you at work? Is your Dad able to go? Questions, questions, take your I-Pad, and have fun. Bring back a bit of Pauls anointing with you, Brighton needs it. .

Hi Dave, not taking my iPad-really do not want to risk losing it- I use it too much at home, it's a lifeline at times x do not have a camera- and not brilliant at taken photos on my phone, however I am sure my son and daughter will post pictures on Facebook - so you will have to ask Helen to let you see her wall xxx i am on a team of housekeepers at work, so they change around xx My dad is not able to come, it would be too hot and his insurance would be quite high, also I did not encourage him too much because I need a break and I would not be able to relax if he was there, I know that sounds selfish, but my dad wasn't that keen - I need quality time with my children , and space to breathe !! I would love to recieve some of Paul's anointing, don't know about Brighton needing it, I definitely could do with it xx its kind of nice going somewhere that the disciples went to- my favourite place would be to sit by the sea at galilee - but that's never going to happen !! Xx Rita

I trust it will not be to hot for you all Rita. here in Bulgaria it is rather warm, so far to warm this night to sleep. Having a time away with the family will be a wonderful opportunity to receive a refill from the Lord. I pray that you will all be blessed more than you ask or think.

Thank you James, my ex is also going to be there and I have been praying that God will use the time to bring about some inner healing between him and his children - they are all feeling apprehensive about how he is going to be with them. Yes, the heat - thank goodness there is the sea and swimming pool, and air conditioning in the hotel !!! How is everyone adapting to life in Bulgaria James- I expect you are I transition mode from one culture to another - must take awhile to adapt when you decide to go and live in a new country. Rita xx

Having to adapt Rita is the main aability that one must have , everything is so very different yet in reality it is still, visit shops, buy food, prepare meals, tidy up. The heat is one thing that will take some time to become used to, it is hard to imagine how it can go from this warmth to the cold snows of winter. Tomorrow I fly back to the UK and will then think back fondly to the warn days forgetting the too warm nights.

It's been pretty warm over here this week James, unbearable at work - but today there has been rain. It's the bank holiday weekend so I doubt it will be the same heat wave- although I will equally be adapting to the heat in Cyprus. In time you must just naturally acclimatise to the different temps, I am presuming that they equally have bad winters as well, but must have Autumn in between, so it may well be like it use to be in the uk. I remember going back to school with frost and a chill in the air, and that was usually after a really hot summer holiday Hope you trip back to the uk goes ok xxxxx Rita x

Well here I am safe and sound Rita. It was good to see and have fellowship with the family. Still no conclusion on the sale of this house.
Can we all pray that the buyer gets on with it and I am released from this prison I find myself in. I do not want to be here I want to be in Bulgaria with the family and enjoying a new found freedom.
Patience is no doubt being perfected in me, lets hope so!!

How is it all going James ?
Well my son is now married, we had such a lovely time in Cyprus - and it all went well with my ex being their too. No deep conversations between him and my children, but communication did happen. Gods timing in how Sarah and him were in the same place at the same time - they simply could not avoid one another. There was no unease, considering they had not spoken for six years, real answer to prayer. I have no photos as David and Stacey are still in Cyprus and want to be the ones to release the first photo when they get home. The hotel was amazing, I miss the food and cocktails / amaretto coffee - don't like having to do the cooking again !!!!
The heat was an issue at times, but we just spent a lot of time in the sea or pool - so it was only a problem when we went on the tours and walks. I could not live in that heat, but it was lovely to have so much sun.
Sadly we got caught up in all the drama of Gatwicks hole in the runway - we had to circle six times, not good for marks partner who hates landings. Then we got diverted to heathrow to refuel, with the aim of returning to gatwick. After waiting for over an hour we were the told that gatwick could not take us for two hours, by which time the pilots hours for flying were up. We had to get transport from Heathrow to gatwick, but got caught in road works on the m25 ( this was at 12:30 in the morning . We finally arrived at my sons at 2am His partner was starting a new job at 9:00 - we had left Cyprus at 3:00pm uk time.

Glad to have you back Rita, and so pleased for you that things went smoothly in Cyprus but the trip home sounds horrendous.

Glad you had a great time Rita and that there was no contention.
I have missed the hole in the runway I shall have to look that up. The worst bit about any holiday is the travelling, I do dislike the thought of travelling, why we have to be treated worse than cattle I have no idea. Lovely to have you with us again Rita, how long before you are back to work?

The hole in the runway at gatwick was on Sunday, it's happened before apparently - it did make some of the news, but proberbly more in the south. Must admit that everything else with our journeys went well, and the plane we had was very comfortable - have you flown on the new Dreamliner? I honestly do not know how people travel for really long flights though, and I would not want to do it on a regular basis. It was a experience - had it not been so late it would not have bothered us so much xx I return to work on Saturday, so it's been nice to get back to normal gradually. Must admit the last few days have been lovely, tomorrow I need to get my dads place sorted out- but it will help to get back into the swing of cleaning. It takes me a few days to get back to speed when I return, shame it is the weekend as it means less staff and more work - but I can only do what I am capable of.
Anymore progress with the sale of your property James ? Rita

Rita we are at the solicitors asking questions and looking at local search, all that sort of thing. Once they have done so we might be at contracts with a swift completion , I hope. I am looking at three weeks time but who can tell?
I have no doubt that the people at work will be glad to see you back, just a blessing you have a few days to become acclimatized.

Well my op is in two weeks- the last few days has seen my dad developing further health issues. He has gout and cellulitis - which is making it difficult for mobility. I am working and staying at dads to help him. However it poses dilemmas - once I have my op I cannot do much for my dad for quite a few weeks, lifting ect will be out of the question for months. Tonight I suddenly feel alone in all this - and feel a sense of slight panic if my dads problems do not resolve. I need him to be mobile. I kind of feel God is using this, well the timing - dads partner is away at the moment - she usually supports me by supporting dad. A lesson in trust perhaps !!
It is at times like this I miss not having a partner, and I wish my brother lived nearer. Feeling vulnerable !!

It is amazing how things can sometimes seem to be so badly timed that one is forced to believe that it can only by Gods hand at work. I can lift up my hands as Moses did for Joshua who was down in the valley fighting the battle, and pray for your strength and that as Jesus said to Peter. "I have prayed that your faith fail not" God bless and keep you through this time Rita. James

Well my dad is improving slowly, settled down for my last night of staying with him , when the phone rang. It was paramedics with Dan - he had a bad night, cut his arms and wrists, thus time needing stitches and treatment. He did admit that it had started as a suicide attempt, what prompted him to call the paramedics I don't know. There was blood everywhere, and broken glass- it looked like a scene from a crime drama. Me and my oldest spent the night up the hospital - he is now home. I have just finished cleaning all the mess up. Tired, but cannot switch off to sleep. Need to go down dads soon. I don't really know what else to say!!!!!! Rita

Blessings Rita, sounds like you need a few . There's a neat song by the Hillsong singers, called "Oceans deep" worth a listen too. Is it possible for Dan to help out with his grandfather at all? I'm asking the Lord to give you a word. He "said"to his disciples" Let US go over to the other side" and in this situation there will be an other side for you.

This one is beautiful Rita. It had such a profound effect on me the first time I sang that I just couldn't stop weeping.
