Your word Dave is appropriate - remember me mentioning about having prophecy with Dan - the Lord gave me words years ago - well they started with a very deep awareness with words - it's weird but I ' feel ' words within me at times and I just know they are insights- cannot explain. The awareness I had was that someone I loved was going to go through the something that would cause me pain, but within the words were a command ' but you must focus on the victory ' - these words, along with other insight within a time frame came when Dan was 10 years old. Boy have there been times when I have felt pain because I could not help the person , usually my children, going through stuff- each time I have wondered if ' this is it ' but each time the rest of the prophecy did not come about ( which is linked to salvation, I believe it is Jeffs ( my ex ) There is so much more, it was like putting a jig saw together at the time - I found it all intriguing and fascinating- but I had complete trust in it all.
With Dan the pain has lasted the longest because his suffering is going on the longest - and it's potentially life threatening because he has a desire inside to find what he considers to be the ultimate release-( death ) this is what happened on Thursday. He explained that he gets mad because he cannot quite succeed. He did say it is hard to explain. It's not that someone saves him, he rang the paramedics - something kicks in and causes him to seek help ( from his viewpoint it could be classed as animal survival instincts kicking in )
Anyway I have a reminder of the command yet again , you must focus on the victory - which is ultimately ' the other side ' Xxxxxx

When we know in our 'knower' that God has spoken a word into our hearts or spirits, like Abraham before us we just have to trust him to work it out, which is easier said than done as Abraham himself found out when he tried to work things out in his own way.
Like Dave said, when Jesus said to his disciples "Let US go over to the other side" he knew they would get there but when the storm came up they didn't think about Jesus' word they only felt fear. And although they didn't remember that word they did trust him to calm the storm.
He will calm it Rita and bring you all to the other side but not necessarily in a way you can envisage but in his own way and in his own time. God bless you and Dan and your dad. xx

Praying that you stay healthy for your surgery. My granddaughter has surgery on the 15th.Dec.. so praying for you both. For health, the procedure and for a quick recovery. ❤️

Thank you xxx Everyday has brought reminders of ' no beds ' ' cancelled ops ' - and when I went up for the pre op assessment I found out that they have the noira virus on one of the wards, which has now been closed. Colds are all around me at work, now my oldest has one and he promised to watch a game with my dad last night- my dad would risk a cold for football !! ( I have to go into my dads every night at the moment) Also my blood pressure was very high at the assess, but thank fully I have a monitor at home, so I can take along more normal readings - it was much lower that evening and has been fine ever since. !!!! ( It's never been so high, even when I have been stressed ) Dans wrist has been causing a few issues with being able to support me, but thankfully he had his stitches out yesterday and that has made it a bit easier

Sending love and prayers to you Rita...how will you feel if your surgery is cancelled? Will you feel shattered? Is it elective surgery, or something that needs speedy attention? I believe that Gods timing is perfect...I pray His will be done. Xxx💖

Hi Helen, Hope your niece surgery goes okay xxxx I would be disappointed, but in theory it would not be a problem physically if I could not have it. I started to get a cold last night, been throwing everything at it- including prayer. This is where faith dwindles. For some time now I have see so many things coming at me with regards to having this op, I kind of knew a physical attack would also come my way. I had a slight cold leading up to hysterectomy, which never developed. This one is still making up its mind. The timing does seem good for the op, with regards to practical issues - and my dad is good now. I don't know how to have faith to pray for healing by tomorrow morning, I know in my head it can happen- that God is able, but in my heart i just doubt he would do it for me. I just feel so low tonight as everything is geared up for the op- I have still asked my son to pick me up, still carried on planning ect and my daughter is staying here tonight- I kind of did this as a sign that 'I believe ' but I am just not sure as I head for bed. Please would you and Dave prayer for me - I would like it to go ahead tomorrow- God knows why xx
Any news on James ?

Gods healing power has been delivered to the church, that is a given. We might feel it does not work or that we don't have any but I am sure this is not how the Lord sees things. I do not look a finished product to me but to the Lord I am in Jesus white , pure , complete and full of faith. In the same way we sometimes say "I don't have enough power to blow the fuzz of a dandy lion, but is that the true picture? Am I not giving in to doubt by not believing what the first disciples had is still here in the church, in me!
Just like Pat and her Christmas tree I do not have the liberty to say "we are powerless" sounds to final to expressly telling God he can not work through me. Sorry, how I got here I don't know, must be rambling.

I prayed for you all day yesterday Rita - for whichever situation you faced - and am still praying. As you haven't posted perhaps that means that you have had your op. I hope so.

Yes, I had my op - just got back from the hospital. I am quite uncomfortable, but okay. My cold disappeared when I came round after the op. So all is good. It is hard being at home and not being able to do anything- that's going to drive me round the twist I think. However I must behave myself !!!!! I am really tired, will catch up over the next few days x Rita

I think it depends on your circumstances James - if you are always saying yes to doing things and perhaps by choice ' over doing ' things - then you are doing too much !! Life however life is busy because of commitments that cannot be avoided, then surely you are doing what is needed, so it cannot be defined as too much !! Too much for me right now is about everything I was use to doing, but can't - but if I hide away in my bedroom I won't see much of what is not being done the way I use to do it !!! Lol
how are are you feeling now James, are you having to take things easy - I would suspect you have been told too rest, or perhaps do not have the energy to do much. Poppy, I hope Ray is okay xxxxx

Is doing to much the same as going the extra mile or in some cases, extra miles I ask myself. If people can say, you are going to much, why don't they do, instead of saying, is another question I ask myself. Circumstances definitely play a major role in all our doing but if we do it all unto the Lord are we really ever doing to much? Rita my grand-daughter had her surgery and like you, is now in the resting mode. As I didn't get a response to my wheelchair and whelks proposition I'll take it as a no . Hopefully both you and Robin are on recovery road. A balmy day today, only -18//// our weather man I'm convinced is an alien and from another planet; trace elements can be interpretated as, very little snow, more snow and it's blowing a blizzard. Then I ask myself when he says it will warm up at the weekend, it is never the weekend of this week but it is going to be the weekend of next week; I suppose he will make a mistake and get it right one day.

"Doing to much" is when we move beyond wisdom. 😊 I have forgotten already Rita, how long do you get off work for recovery? To answer the question...36 hours later she is like you , home, but still feeling very nauseous from the anesthetic...resting and healing up 😊 Not eating for sure. ( the surgery was a - "womanly thing")
