So you aren’t posting any churches or cricket matches? The endeavour hasn't been abandoned ..... just postponed for a while.

Page 27 Rita will be pleased to see that I've abandoned the 3D feature. This picture is of the Holt to Sheringham 'Poppy Line' steam railway.

A little to much of the impressionist about this one , yet it does look good if I half close my eyes and squint through my lashes.

Oh YES!! I so love that one...love it all...love the sky. It is my most favourite one. ❤️ Im going to copy it into my iPhoto's...then I'll aways have it! Thank you. xx PS, you have another one too though? I believe in the other one the game was being played the other way...up and down the field, toward the church , from where the "artist is standing". But I could have remembered it all wrong!

Is it me? Or are cricket matches better played in the shade of a church? I did not realise it was such a religious game.

Maybe, being a gardening person, you'll like this abstract painting of "Frangipani in full bloom"

What a nice surprise to find this thread! Have always loved the light within your paintings, Mike. Enjoyed, also, this you said:
I think of dreams in a similar way: We don't dream what we live. We dream what we wish we could live. A kinder, brighter, gentler world.
I began a 'nature journal' last summer. Just pencil sketches of things I find around the farm. Birds, leaves, caterpillars ... that sort of thing.
Thanks for sharing!

It makes me wish I had continued the interest I had when I was younger when I was drawing portraits of people. My art teacher said they were good. I'm not sure I could do it now, so out of practice. I especially like this one. It's beautiful. I like the colors and of course I love flowers.

LOL, Love the nightmare painting, Mike. But, the little critter is kinda cute. I'd likely keep him as a pet.
