Rita, once I've worked through the collection via this thread then I'll send you your choice, FOC, in your preferred format (you'll see that 'Moonlit Saltmarshes' is also available in an extended 'Landscape' format). Wow, thank you very much - that's very kind of you x Rita

Day 18/Page 18 I'm continuously tweaking my preference for how I'll produce my framed pictures (rather like how I used to annoy everyone by 'tweaking' my forum preferences)

I don't understand the shadowing Mike. Usually a mounted print is set in to the mounting card rather than standing out from it.

Poppy, I'm producing three sizes of framed pictures. The large and medium ones come with pale buff, bevel cut mounts, surrounding a white background, 3D shadowed, image. In real time the mount is seen to be forward of the white based background, but the picture itself also appears to stand forward as a result of the 3D shadowing. On your screen you just don't see the forward projection of the mount (nor the even further forward projection of the frame. I'm still 'fiddling' with the widths of each element.

Just me I know, but I do not like the look of the last picture as it is framed. The original one you put up earlier was better I feel.

Day 19/Page 19 This is my current preference (I've tried to 'shadow' the upstands of both the buff mount and the grey frame to replicate reality).

Hi Mike, like the last one you posted, looks really good, strange how the colour of the outer frames make a difference. Rita

Page 22 James, Ivor, and Dave must be getting as bored with this stuff as I am with Theological banter. Anyway, two images per frame will hasten the end.

Hi Mike, I love the double ones - they look great x Rita x Maybe you would like a 'two in one' when it comes to the 'freebee'.... but for that it would have to be either two landscape pictures, one above the other, in a 'portrait' frame, or two portrait images side by side in a 'landscape' frame.

I like that last frame as well Mike - looks good x In reality I'm using this thread as a discipline ensuring that I keep on 'tweaking' in the never ending search for visual perfection (as I perceive it to be). And all before I finally commit to mass production and exhibiting. Each time I tweak, I think "right, this is finally it". But it's a bit like producing a painting.....it's always the next painting that will be the elusive 'masterpiece' (never the one just produced).

Page 25 This one was an oil painitng based on one of my daughter's photographs taken on holiday in Corfu. Is this one produced in the elusive, final, 'perfect' format?

Page 25 At last I haven't felt the need to further tweak the previous preferred format.
