Checked everywhere Helen and can not find anything to turn on reply after each post. Just a quick reply after the last post which is not much different from reply , you just don't get all the font and stuff to play with. Did Nancy get back to you??

I now find that I mostly use the Participated button..and I always use it even if it doesn't have a "new" sign next to it. The only trouble with that is, if there is a new thread then it wont show show up in Participated, as one has not yet participated!! But to have the Reply button with every post, and not just at the bottom of a thread is much nicer..and to have a reply button in the list of " Recent Posts" is much nicer too.
If there were many people on here, then it would for sure be needed. Somehow Nancy found how to do it. She also found how to make all the font bigger on the site, which is nice.
Kerry said a good thing today, well I thought it was good. He said that speaking in other tongues is not as important as speaking (lovingly) with the tongue we have. I thought that was good. That is not a direct quote...I have forgotten what he actually said, but that is how it came across to me. A good word.

Helen, it might be that Nancy paid for her site and so gets better works. I have spent ages trawling through the admin pages of how to do this and that and have come up blank.
Good word from Kerry, he can hit the nail a lot of times I know.
Did you pass on the clinic I sent you to Nancy and did she call to get help?

I had an unusual experience on Monday, one that I am surprised one does not have regularly.
Jeanette had made pork chops for lunch, I was on the last mouthful. When I closed my mouth after popping in the last of the roast spud and chop I was hit with a sudden pain in my top gum for a section of bone was in the meat. I opened my mouth to remove the food and found that in fact at the same time as the bone sticking in my gum it had pieced through my tongue. I needed to dislodge the bone from my gum and then pull it out of my tongue, boy did that hurt. Had to ask myself why would anyone willingly have a chunk of iron put through their tongue. Today it is feeling a little better although it is still swollen and hurts a bit still when I swallow.
This coming Tuesday I go into hospital for a day to have keyhole surgery on my right shoulder. The AC joint from the collar bone has grown extra bone which is rubbing on the ligaments and being rather tiresome and painful. A quick chop with a hammer and chisel and all will be well again. I have now been told that it will be very painful afterwards, I trust this will not be so.
This may rather curtail my typing for a bit, we shall wait and see.

Good grief...I did not enjoy reading about the bit of bone in the gum and tongue...so heaven know how it must have FELT!! Poor you!! Tongues always bleed quite a lot too. I bit right through mine once ( mind you, I am on blood thinners.) I agree, these kids with metal in their tongues, lips and noses...makes me shudder.
Well I think Mike expected his teeth extractions to be bad, and he was well blessed with good surgery and recovery...so we will pray the same for you James. I am sure you will have physio to regain all motion afterward...that is the time you will have to push through the pain..and make sure you get good motion back again.
Please keep us posted, even with one finger of one hand. And we will let you use all small case and with no punctuation. Our prayer will be with you and God's angels covering you.

Bluetits, Robins, and Wrens, all currently in varying stages of nest building and feeding young within a few feet of my patio doors. Baby Robin just came right up to my doors, followed by parent in close attention. Having to keep Becky confined to barracks for the present.

Hope you had a lovely time.

Back he is with no tales of nights spent on the patio in deep contemplation as one takes in the French midnight sounds and the French wine. James

Poor you James, sounds horrendous with the bone.
This thread did not show up in 'participated' and I came across it when wanting to post something myself.
Lovely to hear of all the bird life around you Mike.

Have been to the National Railway Museum in York today. Not enjoyed a day out so much in ages. Stunning. Pics to follow if I can work out how to do it.

Lovely to hear of all the bird life around you Mike. Grrrrr I am on my iPad, and I had to try FOUR times before it would give me bigger font!!
I think that I mentioned before that my "Participated" doesn't work now...I can't trust it...its been broken for a while. ( both on iPad and on Laptop) So I am back to using the 'Recent Posts' at the bottom. I just find it hard responding to a post from there . But, at least I don't miss any posts by scrolling through the list there.
Another wonderful day here...I have been out digging out dandelions...I have so many....I never find that the dandelion killer works. It kills a big patch of grass and then sooner or later there is the dandelion again!!! So I find digging them out more effective. They may sprout again, but at least the grass is not all dead around them. Im buying clover seed on Friday. Yay!!! Clover lawns are being recommended here now, to encourage the bees back again. ( I would prefer a Camomile Lawn, for the fragrance, but it won't winter here.)

James, sounds like you did a really good job on the unruly member, There might be a good reasons people don't eat Pork . Was the pun intended; a quick chop and all will be well!!!!! Will certainly be praying for all those involved and a painless and speedy recovery. I'm not a cesss---- whatever, I still believe in HIS gifting's, hopefully the gang there will lay hands on you before you go and a drop of oil can do wonders.

we went a few months ago and the new layout with buffet cafes and luggage re-creating a platform is very pleasing
