BTW Mike...the Front Door looks very nice and inviting...well done. I know it was lots of work. But worth it. Now lets pray that some people 'open the door' and come in to sup with us. Glad to see a secular board.
I liked the line you put up saying:- <Here's a place where surely we can discuss secular things with a smile.>
Well said. There are many interesting things going on in the world in which we don't need to "get heavy" about, but we can " chew the cud" about, with those who wish to. Not that I have ever found many who 'wish to.' LOL
It doesn't seem to be that many want to say anything about anything, spiritual or otherwise!! ( maybe all had a lay in today or taking an afternoon nap!! I came on here earlier, not feeling well again with the heart. And, with not being able to do much of anything else, I thought- " I will go on the site and see what all my friends are talking about since I was last on." But that was a bust. Not mach happening.

Help Mike!! What has happened?
On my first post...
I have " Done a James"...I found that the more I "edited" the smaller my font got. As in, it starts getting small for the last few lines...the edit something else and more of the bottom is small..and so on. When I had finally finished not even the first paragraph was all Size 14!!
So, I went back in for yet another edit..and CHANGED IT...by highlighting "Size 14" But it would not "take" the change of font to bigger!!!!! OR, is the FIRST part of the opening post which got bigger?? Something happened.

I hope someone is watching coz I bet I now start to put the wrong stuff in the wrong hole. I guess this is like Kerry had called child boards and I never understood them either.
Did not see this---Here's a place where surely we can discuss secular things with a smile.----so how did I arrive here and not see the heading?
I must be loosing it, happens the wrong side of 20.

James, "here we go again"!! LOL When I look at it..the first two and a half lines are all BIG..and then the rest may be size 14. "To me" it's not all one size.
Where as in your post a while back..YOU saw it all one size...WE saw the lower paragraphs as tiny, tiny.
Mike help..NOW I have lost my "edit" I don't have a "like button" or an "edit button" I only have a "quote button." -------- Heaven sakes how did I somehow mid post get locked out of the forum I was writing in?? I had to post the above as a guest, BTW, I see nowhere..when logging in.." Stay logged in forever" like other sites. Maybe I overstayed my time, and got bumped off site, maybe?
OBVIOUSLY..I now have my edit and like buttons back now I am "on site" LOL
Yet to me...the opening post is still two different sizes though.

But first of all logout, then login again, and before you proceed make sure you click on 'Remember me' in the orange box where you have your username. After you've done that:- Click into your 'Profile' then click on 'Edit Profile' then Click on 'Settings' then scroll down to Posting default then enable 'Preview' (rather than 'BBCode') then scroll down and click on 'Save Settings'

Thought I'd do a secular, I haven't followed the U.S election like Helen but I've always been a bit of fan of the outsider in a race, So that brings me too Mr Trump. Now scripture says GOD hath chosen the foolish things of this world to confound the wise, and the outsider is now making a run, ( for the life of me I can't see why the church doesn't get behind him) but that's just me. Now all of a sudden the unholy trinity, Big government, big business and big media are in panic mode and have all their guns blazing, their thoughts are how BIG the losses will be if the outsider makes it.

I had thought he was going to make it, not that it sounds by what you say, as if I follow the white house any more than you do.
Helen tells me that Hilary will get in, hope not. More than possible if banks and business are all out to get trump. The church I bet has its own agenda and so will not back him even though he is more for what is right than the others were. Jesus said "if they are not against us they are for us" or words to that effect so why the church does not come 100% behind him I knoweth not. He is better than that lying lady or the Muslim loving non-American guy.

When I was in horse racing, in any big race if the favourite was an odds on to win. I would look to an outsider for an upset, so, one would study form, trainers and the "jockey" In most races the "jockey" is the key, the owner and the trainer, once in the stands, are at the mercy of the "jockey" even on a good horse he can "pull" them. In the race to the white house the Jews will have the favourite, but they are in the stands, so just who is on the Trump horse, is the Great question? in any card game, the one with the master Trump wins. James of course the church has it's own agenda in not getting behind Trump. He might end the tax benefit's. You would think the american people after being lied to for the last 40 years would at least like to be lied to again by somebody new. At least Mrs Trumps good looking, Hilary!!!!! give me a break, that should be enough to vote Trump. I'm really into this secular thing . As an after thought, WHAT if the flock fleecer's had to pay back taxes? it might collapse the system, now there's a thought.

I was reading the Times of Israel this morning, and how Israel has the hots for Hilary. Wouldn't it be funny if it's the last Trump.

Dave what do you make of old Joel, I have watched a few of his shows and find him detached with a stream of words that almost have no room between them to breath.
I much prefer to hear Joyce Myers preach down to earth stuff. She had a great thought the other day from the man at the pool "How long have you been in this condition". 38 years and you never dealt with it, why?
I thought she was terrific.

Old Joel, the power of positive smiling, my problem with him is, I find myself trying to see if I can keep smiling as long as him and I miss what he's saying, But it's really only as I'm flipping that I come across any of them, Joyce M's, who Helen really likes, I find a bit like the man at the pool, but like Joel, she can pack them in. In both ministries you pay your money and people do get blessed, so who am I to knock them. We all stand or fall before our own master. There are enough on the internet who think they are masters and judges of all, Jesus's answer was, "those who are not against me", I'll go with that.

Somewhere it says something along the lines of "the angel of these little ones always behold the face of Jesus, or was it my father". My thought was does it mean little ones have an angel to look after them or is it in fact referring to the angel or spirit within that in a child does always behold Gods face.
I wonder at what point that angel no longer beholds the face of God?

Hopefully I'm fonting o.k now, I presume you're quoting Matt 18 vs 10 Where Jesus has set a little child in the midst and adds a few, whosoever's for good measure and ends with " Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven." Your question being, at what point do their angel stop beholding-----, so does everyone have a personal one or only children? Jesus's reference is to angels in heaven. Although I did like "angels in the outfield" I loved the line, "but it could happen" To me, the more relevant thought is the, despise aspect, something to chew on as I muse with Odd.

Lance Wallnau 15 hrs · Trump Predicted Trouble in Brussels March 22, 2016
It's in the New York Times back on January... It's January 27th. Today is March the 24th. So almost two months. The headline is: "Donald Trump Finds New City to Insult." Dateline London: "He incensed Paris and London by saying that some of their neighborhoods were so overrun with radicals that the police were too scared to enter. He raised Scottish tempers by threatening to pull the plug on his investments there, including his luxury golf courses, if British politicians barred him from entering Britain. Now Donald J. Trump has upset the already beleaguered people of Belgium, calling its capital, Brussels, 'a hellhole.' "Asked by the Fox Business Network anchor Maria Bartiromo about the feasibility of his proposal to bar foreign Muslims from entering the United States, Mr. Trump argued that Belgium and France had been blighted by the failure of Muslims in these countries to integrate," and to assimilate. "Trump said to Maria Bartiromo..." "There is something going on, Maria. Go to Brussels. Go to Paris. Go to different places. There is something going on and it's not good, where they want Shariah law, where they want this, where they want things that" just aren't good. And less than two months later, Belgium blows up. Brussels blows up. The New York Times: "Donald Trump Finds New City to Insult." Story today from BuzzFeed: "Belgian Authorities Overwhelmed by Terror Investigations -- Within minutes of a bomb blast at Brussels’ main airport, mobile phone and internet networks crashed. After a second attack struck a metro station in Maelbeek, which feeds the main European Union complex..." And that's... that's huge. See, to understand this -- and please... Look, you might think this is a little over the top. It isn't, friends, it isn't. To American Liberals, to anybody who's not a conservative, Europe is the site of utopia. Denmark, Brussels, Sweden, are the gold standard of proof about their grand experiment. That's where the argument for Utopia is supposed to flower. That's where utopia is, Europe. And these madmen have come along and they blew it up, "My God, do they not know? If we could all live together there, we can live in harmony, we can live in peace, we can live without conflict. Don't they know why they --" They are taking this personally. I guarantee you, blowing up "Maelbeek, which feeds the main European Union complex," that'd be like blowing up the underground railroad subway system, whatever, to the US capitol. You know, hit anything, but that, oh, my God, this is a direct hit on our utopian site. RUSH LIMBAUGH says this: "Remember in utopia, utopia's where all conflict subsides. Utopia is where all conflict goes away. Utopia is where everybody realizes peace, unity, oneness, sameness, equality, justice, you know, all these things. And these clowns hit it. These terrorists, they just targeted it. It's dispiriting because the very existence of this place is supposed to send out cosmic waves that this is the place where we are all finally going to come together as one, and they went out and hit it. It's double depressing to them, for that reason." "Belgian counter-terrorism officials have been on high alert for years as hundreds of citizens and residents have departed for the battlefields of Syria and Iraq. One Belgian official said that besides the names of hundreds of fighters believed to be abroad, the security services have more than 200 open files related to threats at home and in Europe." "Listen to this. "Virtually every police detective and military intelligence officer in the country was focused on international jihadi investigations." There isn't any time for murder, robbery, any of the other everyday crimes, 'cause everybody is focused on jihad. And even with that, the jihadists succeeded. The official from one of the intelligence agencies said, "We just don’t have the people to watch anything else and, frankly, we don’t have the infrastructure to properly investigate or monitor hundreds of individuals suspected of terror links," as well as pursue the hundreds of open files." "This is utopia. This is what everybody aspires to, and they are not equipped to deal with the harsh realities of the world, including that there are bad guys who want to kill us simply because we're alive. They don't want to kill us because they don't like our values. That's another thing, Hillary and Obama, "We must maintain our values." It's not a value question for them. It's a religious question. We're infidels. It's no more complicated than that. Plus, we are at war with them, or we're going through the motions of it, anyway." ""But back to Trump. So back on January 27th, the New York Times gets all over him for insulting Brussels and telling everybody (paraphrasing), "Look, it's gonna happen there. They're not prepared for it, you know, all this massive immigration in Belgium and other European nations, and there's no assimilation. They're living together amongst each other. They're not becoming citizens of these countries, and they are not learning the specific ways of life in these countries." So the Times insults Trumps and now a story in the Politico: 'Trump on Brussels: Told You So -- Donald Trump said today he's been warning about the importance of border security for some time, a comment that comes in response to the explosions in Brussels.' He said, 'I've been talking about this for a long time. Look at Brussels,' he said in a phone interview." This was on Fox & Friends today, not on the Fox Business Network like he did originally with Maria Bartiromo."
