There's very little in this nine-minute video but what there is - is something plain to see that may be useful for

At the time of Mao’s death in 1976 China was an economic irrelevance on the world scene. Now it rivals America’s gross domestic product, its goods stock western supermarkets and storehouses and it has rocketed back to the heart of the world economy. It is also setting the agendas internationally. It is pushing the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) in the Pacific region which if successful will see it leading a regional trading block of 10 nations from India to Australia which would include no less than one-half of the world’s population. It is investing massively in Africa, South America and the Middle East.

They have double the standing army of any country in the world and they are not at war yet! (these troops are paid to stand idle)
They do not need the world in any way and yet consume the worlds most resources, they are the biggest producers of everything except oil so what the world thinks of China is almost irrelevant to China they are a contained unit of 1.4 billion people in one of the largest land masses in the world

As you know Rita Manchester was once called the workshop of the world. Now days everything is manufactured in China and the worlds eyes look to China for everything, be hard to stay mad at the person who provides so much to fill an ASDA store. I think , for what its worth, that the balance of power is all one way, and that way is China's.

I realise that my response may be naive, and not really in line with what this thread is about.... however before I opt out of the conversation .... no one would have believed what would happen in Russia as a result of Chernobyl. The coverups and consequences of that had a rippling affect. I do not believe that everyone is just going to walk away from the consequences of what is happening right now, it too could have a rippling effect that none of us have even envisaged. We all guess at what is this and what is that in Gods unfolding plan, but sometimes he takes us by surprise and uses something awful to bring about change - I know all the conspiracies, and all the speculations about the beast, the mark and the anti christ .............. but the change that comes may not be what some are expecting.

Days like Noah mankind being so bad that God regretted creating man or a blissful utopia or something in between all things are possible with God - we are told to look for signs of His return. I want rapture but don't see that concept in scripture so to me it seems if we live we could live through it all

I think you are bang on target Rita, there must always be a ripple effect. I think Einstein had a theory about cause and effect, I am sure this cause will effect the world and therefore us as individuals to be effected for years to come. Not just from the medical aftermath, which I have read for some is going to be a complete life changing experience. The financial fall out will also be great, and I am sure the governments of the world will use this virus to leave much small print on the statute books.
