Hello there,
I hope I will be welcome here. I am not combative. However I am not mainstream. I am an Acts 28 dispensationalist.
* It is not without reason that the Apostle Paul told his hearers to 'bear with one another in love', and that is what I will seek to do, and hope you will do the same for me. Until:-
'Till we all come in the unity of the faith, .. and of the knowledge of the Son of God, .... unto a perfect man, ...... unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, .. and carried about with every wind of doctrine, .... by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, ...... whereby they lie in wait to deceive; But speaking the truth in love, .. may grow up into Him in all things, .... which is the head, even Christ: ...... From whom the whole body fitly joined together ........ and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, .......... according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, ............ maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.' (Ephesians 4:13-16)
Within the love of Christ our Saviour Our Lord and Head. Chris

Chris Hi Chris, So far you're the only one who has responded to my 'Living Water' link to this 'sister site', so it will not 'hot up' unless and until more follow suit. But at least you'll get to meet Helen's brother James and her husband Dave. God bless....Mike

Hello there, I hope I will be welcome here. I am not combative. However I am not mainstream. I am an Acts 28 dispensationalist. Hi Chris, After over 65 years in the Christian faith I have only just been alerted to there being a difference between hyperdispensationalism and ultradispensationalism; having previous only been alerted to the hyper version.
So I did a search and found Hyperdispensationalism - Wikipedia
Over on the Christianity Board it looks as if I might get further enlightenment as you and Doug iron out the differences (assuming Doug to be of the ultra persuasion). I won't give the link because I know full well that neither Dave nor James would go there.

I know that such men as Dr E.W, Bullinger and Charles Welch were branded as ulta-dispensationalists, but in their eyes they were men who were going on to know Christ, and had no other desire but to be ' found in Him'. They were Bereans (Acts 17) and sought only to follow the principle of 2 Timothy 2:15. I am of their persuasion, and therefore come under the same category in the eyes of others, but I don't take any notice of this label. I hope you will find the interchange between Doug and myself of interest, and that between Soulman and I, in his thread entitled 'The Revelation Gospel', in which this is also under discussion. If you want to ask me anything directly, please do. Thank you, Mike. In Christ Jesus Chris

In Christ Jesus Chris At the age of 86, with over 65 years of mainstream prejudice behind me, I doubt that I have enough years left in me to embrace radical change, nor time and energy to engage. But thanks for your sincere intent. BTW, do you have an open heart for 'change'?
