Five years ago this was recorded and things have not improved at all, but have declined. The inclination to take offense has greatly increased

The thing is...freedom of speech is a one way street...those of us on the 'right' , those that stand for the old landmarks, compassion , king and country, Christian standards, etc ....are now shut-down. While those who are angry , vicious, and demand freedom for everything, while condemning others and calling for violent action ...are allowed free speech. No one stops them because even the police of frightened of them.
It is all now a 'One Way Street'.
Hundreds of Chinese Christians rounded up ...just like in 1940's the persecution has started, but this time it will cross the water...the west will not have a free ride like last time.... So, as we listen to the Christmas Carols being sung on the radio, in the Malls, and in the shops...let us give thanks...it will at least give some people a 'good memory' after it has all been banned... it will be a case of " Do you still remember when..."
Blessing on one and all...make sure that you enjoy this Christmas, I intend to.

My thought is, in the years of plenty did we take advantage of the speech that we had and are now suffering for it; or did we just have speech, then when it is restricted it then becomes 'free' speech, only in Christ, and is there liberty and freedom. "In the world ye shall have tribulation but----------" It's a time to buy oil, for the night cometh!!!!!!!!!.
In reading that back, sounds like a bunch of pontification!!!!!!!! Oh well 'Tis the season.

Oh well 'Tis the season. My thoughts too. We never know what we had, until we no longer have it! When we were all young , did we ever say to ourselves... " I am so glad I am young, and I can raise my leg without falling to put my socks on." I think not!! Did we ever praise God that we could see clearly without glasses? I never did. But, that said, I do now praise God for all the things we did enjoy. Freedom to leave our door unlocked, freedom to allow our kids to roam safely. And yes, freedom to say what we wanted to say, when we wanted to say it!!!
