I know there's talk of which forum to use. I personally only use this place as my Christian forum.
My reason is a simple one and its the "light hand on the tiller" meaning there is no agenda and no weighted control so when the Holy Spirit blows our boat we all go with him together - for a short amount of time, sometimes only hours but other times a number of days even a week on occasions.
If this forum goes then I'll use the other one I've no axe to grind i'm just content as things are but I'm easily pleased. My work and family life is very busy and my forum time limited which no doubt effects my view

Hello there Ivor young man! Nice to see you, I was going to put a 'waving hand' in the "CHAT" thread for you, just in case you checked in to read while on holiday. So I am doubly happy to see your post. As for the Two Forum thing. Everyone should do what is comfortable for them. It was probably all my fault that the other one got re-activated. I woke up one night and checked for something to read ( ie Old thread to read) ..and because my brain was wooly and tired, I found this site layout so hard to navigate. Reading and finding things ( for me) is so much easier on Living Water than this formate. So "over there" Pat, Mike, James, Amadeus, Brad and myself post now. BUT that has NOT changed this site one bit. All the above people, except Brad, post on here as per usual. Having two strings to our bow is not a bad idea....having an alternative resource that you can make use of if the first one fails. So Ivor, nothing has changed on here at all. Dave will never use the other site, although he has many more posts on there than on here . He says he wont use two sites. Dave says he wont change. And trust me, that is a true saying ...54yrs have proved it to me! Haha!! So, which ever site 'floats our boat' when we have something to post. (((hugs))) Hope the trip is good.

Last person I thought I would see on here is you Ivor, I was sure you would be away on them there hills of the land of song for at least a week.
Helen is right it is not an issue, I only post there because some wish to and as I started it off it seems only natural to at least show up to lunch once or twice a week. Looking forward to all the photo's when you return.

"over there" Pat, Mike, James, Amadeus, Brad and myself post now.
I keep trying to play my part, but unlike Ivor internetting is about all I have to keep me occupied. Trouble is that my insatiable need to internet (can it be a 'verb'?) could lead to me dominating a site so I have to rein back a bit. My resultant 'safety valve' is to indulge in extreme 'blogging' (internetting where others do not tread so that I can both post and reply to myself). Peace be with you all.
BTW Helen compiled her list without mentioning Kerry, who is now contributing large amounts of verbage at Living Water.

Only because at the time I posted that ...Kerry had not started reposting again. Hey, be polite, not everything anyone posts is 'verbiage' I am just glad to see anyone willing to share where they 'are' and what they believe. That makes me happy ...especially in the wee hours of the night!! Ha!! Plus, for you, it never went through my mind that you were ' over posting' or dominant. I don't think that is possible !! Keep doing all you are doing...and don't "over think" everything. Blessings....H

Hey, be polite, not everything anyone posts is 'verbiage' Well, at least you got the spelling correct, but I still reckon that the dictionary definition "excessively lengthy or technical speech or writing" is fair comment. But as the 'good book' says "all things may be lawful, but all things are not necessarily expedient" so I'll take the admonition.

Haha!!! So I have just learned something....I had no idea that when I get on one of my "rambles" when posting or email ( rabbit trails)'that it was verbiage!!! I always thought that virbiage was a long dialouge which " said nothing",....so it's not true , that you can't teach an old dog new tricks. As I dun learned something today! But not so sure, as Stormy ( Odd Dog) seems to learn nothing new. As you know she is a rescue dog...had no home life or training...she is seven now. If we say come, she looks and goes the opposite way. She has a mind of her own, and obeys nothing. Gentle, but stupid. Hmmmm, This 'verbiage' sounds much like the children of God now I think about it!!

There was me thinking that 'verbiage was what you call yourself if you do not eat meat, you just eat verbiage.

Only just found this thread. I'll keep posting on both sites as I don't want to lose out.
