Dave, Helen, Ivor, James, Poppy (plus me if you’re daft enough to consider ‘me’ as ‘we’)
“Here we are again, Happy as can be All good pals and jolly good company Never mind the weather, never mind the rain Now that we’re together, whoops she goes again”
livingwater.createaforum.com/ seems to basically be only three active members, but very sporadic. Likewise for www.stayingintouch.uk
Where is this particular ship sailing? ...... seems like mainly general chat divided between purely secular stuff and secular stuff with a degree of spiritual relevance, plus a sprinkling of purely spiritual stuff.
I tend to get bogged down in theological controversy (mainly ‘anti’ but occasionally ‘pro’) so my re-engagement may well start ‘rocking the boat’ again.
However, on a secular level I’m off to France first thing tomorrow morning (via the terrorist hotspots) so, peace be with you all in the meantime.

Good for you Mike, wish I was going to the South of anywhere but as I lack the folding stuff needed to open doors to another place I sit here before my keyboard and wish you lots of fun and rest.

Not for a while yet Mike. It was supposed to be next month but Gareth and Rachel have had the expense of an unexpected and unplanned for house move so it's been postponed for later in the autumn. You'll be missed while you're away.

Ditto. I might as well 'read' as a member rather than as a guest.....although I wonder 'why', since I have nothing positive to say.

Agree, you may as well read as a member than a guest. Only stop 'coming and going' it makes me dizzy.
Like the illustration our mum told us when we were kids ,about the dust-bunnies under the bed...- She'd say.." I don't know who it is, and I don't know if they is coming or going." I've never forgotten that one! Ha!

Well I have something positive to say. I am positive that I am saved by the blood of the lamb. I am positive Jesus is the only way to the father. I am positive I don't know as much as I think I do. I am positive I know more than I think I do. I am positive that God is and will remain so whatever I might believe. I am positive that Love is the greatest Power and Joy is the greatest Strength. I am positive when I stand in Glory that I will be amazed at who is standing alongside me.
I could go on but will stop here.

Being "Positive that you don't know as much as you think you know" pulls the other positives into the realm of reality.
Join the club James.

Mike, at times probably all of us has felt as you felt when making this post. Be assured that every one us here can vouch for the fact you do at times make some very positive posts.
When we see the good in you it is God opening our eyes, but on the other hand when you see the good in us it is God opening your eyes. When we seeing only the negative in ourselves or in others, is it not the "old man" (as per Paul) in us doing the looking?
Humility is more like this is it not?
"Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves." Phil 2:3
